MENG ARCHITECTS

Founded in 2002 and led by Meng Jianmin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and a National Engineering Survey and Design Master, MENG ARCHITECTS focuses on urban landmarks, urban design/Chief Designer Mechanism, healthcare buildings and future habitats. Guided by Meng’s “Humanistic (BENYUAN) Design” philosophy, the team seeks to profoundly integrate industry, education, research with practice and offer a broad range of services such as planning, design, research, and technical consulting in fields of urban planning and architecture, striving to support the future urban development with all-round practice.

Shenzhen General Institute of Architectural Design and Research Co., Ltd.（SZAD）

Rated as one of the “Top 10 Architectural Design Institutes in China”, and known as a large national Grade-A design institute subordinated to Shenzhen Municipality, SZAD holds Grade-A qualification in the construction industry, Grade-A qualification in urban and rural planning, and many other qualifications. Led by Academician Meng Jianmin, SZAD’s academician team specializes in design and consulting of four areas: urban public landmark, urban design/Chief Designer Mechanism, healthcare and future human habitat.

BENYUAN Design Research Center of Shenzhen University (SZU)

BENYUAN Design Research Center of Shenzhen University (SZU), established in 2017, is an important platform of CAE academician Meng Jianmin for his architectural theory, technology research and academic teaching. Subordinated to SZU School of Architecture & Urban Planning, the center adheres to the Humanistic (BENYUAN) Design philosophy of "all-round humanistic care" and the research direction of health, humanity and efficiency. Currently is actively engaged scientific research and theoretical teaching in areas of smart building, spatial accessibility, healthcare environment, sustainable building, modular building, public art, and metaverse city, comprehensive urban design, static trafficc, as well as urban design and operations.
